President’s View

Dear Members, Educators, Students, Parents, and Stakeholders,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Professional Teachers Association Maharashtra (PTAM).

The coaching and academic training sector has emerged as an important pillar of Maharashtra’s educational ecosystem. Every day, thousands of professional teachers, academic institutions, and support staff work tirelessly to help students realize their aspirations and contribute meaningfully to society.

At PTAM, we firmly believe that the future of education lies not in conflict, but in collaboration. Schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes, parents, policymakers, and civil society are all partners in the shared mission of nurturing the next generation. Each stakeholder has a vital role to play, and every stakeholder deserves respect, recognition, and justice.

Our vision is to create a united, responsible, ethical, and progressive coaching sector that serves students with excellence while working constructively with government authorities and the broader educational community. We are committed to promoting quality, transparency, professional development, innovation, and self-regulation within the sector.

I humbly appeal to all coaching institutes, teachers, and academic entrepreneurs across Maharashtra to rise above individual differences and unite for the larger cause. A strong and organized sector will be better positioned to protect the interests of students, support parents, empower educators, contribute to policy discussions, and strengthen public trust.

Together, let us build an educational environment where every student receives the guidance they need, every teacher receives the respect they deserve, every institution operates with integrity, and every stakeholder contributes towards the creation of a stronger, more prosperous Maharashtra and India.
